Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga! The follow-up series to Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami, began in September 2025 and was initially planned to last six months. Set 68 years after the Culling Game, the story centers around a new cast of characters and their challenges within the world of Jujutsu. The series is nearing its conclusion, culminating in a final battle that resolves the biggest issue facing the Jujutsu world. With Yuji’s assistance, Maru successfully saves everyone he cares about, including his brother Cross, who was close to death. The manga will reach its peak in Chapter 25, after which the story will quickly come to an end.
The series is likely to conclude this month, but there are still several plot points that need to be resolved. One key issue is fully introducing a vital character who’s only had a quick appearance so far. The story established that Yuta and Maki were married with grandchildren, but kept their child a secret until the climax. Despite being important to the overall narrative, this character is still absent, and what happened to them remains a mystery.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Needs to Reveal Iori’s Status

Iori vanished shortly after his daughter was born, and Yuji Itadori was the last person he saw. Although their conversation hasn’t been fully shown, Yuji clearly understands why Iori left, and it seems to be a significant reason. Yuji himself is officially listed as missing among Jujutsu sorcerers, but he continues to travel the country, dedicated to upholding Satoru Gojo’s legacy. While the full conversation remains a mystery, Yuji’s dismissive response of “It doesn’t matter” hints that the situation surrounding Iori’s departure is serious.
Iori feared the next generation wouldn’t be strong enough, and he left shortly after his daughter, Yuka, was born, as she possessed a remarkably powerful Cursed Technique. His parents didn’t discuss his departure, but they were clearly heartbroken, and likely understood why he left. Because it’s never been confirmed that Iori is dead, he could reappear before the story concludes. He remains a mysterious figure, and the series needs to reveal more about him before the finale.
