Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga! The end of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo is fast approaching, and the story has taken a surprising twist in Chapter 18. Last September, the author returned with a sequel manga, illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki, which quickly gained attention for its stunning artwork and fresh concept involving aliens. The story is set 68 years after the Culling Game, and the world of Jujutsu faces a new, massive threat: over 50,000 Simurians who arrived on Earth seeking refuge. Initially, the Simurians attempted to negotiate with the sorcerers, but tensions escalated when a sorcerer named Yakumura fatally shot Cross.
The jujutsu world always worried a clash would be disastrous, and that’s what happened when Dabura tried to take charge. After sorcerers refused his unfair requests, he challenged them to a duel. With no one else strong enough to face him, Yuka Okkotsu was selected as their champion. The battle is still raging, pushing Dabura to his absolute limit and forcing him to reveal his full strength.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Forces Dabura To Use His Cursed Techniques

Dabura hadn’t fully demonstrated his abilities until now, but even a brief display was incredibly powerful. He remained calm when facing Mahoraga, though he underestimated the creature’s ability to quickly adapt to any attack. In the recent chapter, Dabura is severely challenged during his battle with Mahoraga, while Yuka remains hidden. Realizing he can’t win by holding back, Dabura resolves to fight with everything he has. The manga then showcases his cursed techniques, partially concealing the name of one, but revealing the other is called ‘Light’.
Because his body couldn’t handle traveling at the speed of light, he never reached that velocity. Knowing Mahoraga adapts to any attack, making repeated techniques useless, Dabura chooses to fight the Shikigami with his bare hands. This reflects his roots as a warrior, despite leaving his original tribe, the Deskunte, and joining the Rumelians. The chapter concludes with Dabura moving at incredibly high speeds – faster than any human could – though still below the speed of light, as he charges across the battlefield.
