Jeremy Slater, the writer, mentioned to ComicBook that the development of Mortal Kombat II has been completed some time ago. They have been patiently waiting for an appropriate release date and a suitable release window.
He commented, “I’ve attended those test screenings, filled with Mortal Kombat enthusiasts, and seeing them respond just as I did to Avengers: Endgame is a spectacle. They were cheering and leaping from their seats. Every joke hits home, and they can’t get enough. It’s one of the most exhilarating experiences of my career. That’s why we dive into this line of work.
On October 24, 2025, the U.S. will screen Mortal Kombat II, a film distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
