This is how Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom do co-parenting.
Despite ending their nine-year relationship earlier this year, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom showed there’s no bad blood when they took their children to see Paddington: The Musical in London. The family outing included their daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, age 4, and Orlando’s son, Flynn Bloom, 14, with his mother, Miranda Kerr.
A photo shared on social media by West End actor Tarinn Callender shows Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom happily posing with the cast of a musical. Perry and Bloom’s daughter, Daisy, leaned her head on her father’s shoulder, and their son, Flynn, had his arms around his sister.
Katy dressed for the outing in a tan cardigan, trousers, and a baseball cap. Orlando chose a camel-colored trench coat, blue jeans, and gray sneakers.
The family vacation happened five months after a source told TopMob News that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had been prioritizing co-parenting their daughter for several months, signaling a change in their romantic relationship.
According to a spokesperson, the couple will continue to co-parent their daughter and present a united front as a family. Their main focus remains raising their daughter with love, stability, and respect for each other.

Although Katy Perry has moved on and is now with Justin Trudeau, she’ll always have a special connection to Orlando. She once explained that she and Orlando both wanted to grow and change.
She explained in a September 2024 interview on Call Her Daddy that the purpose of their relationship is personal growth, ultimately to be the best parents they can be for their child.

Orlando later emphasized his dedication to raising their children together, telling Today in September, “We’re going to do great. There’s only love between us.”
“We’ve got a beautiful daughter,” he added. “I feel grateful for all of it.”
Katy has consistently shown support for her ex-husband since their separation. On September 7th, she posted on Instagram expressing how “proud” she was of Orlando for his new film, The Cut.

Despite ending their romantic relationship in 2023, the Grammy-winning artist and their Swedish-Syrian partner still work together to raise their children, Lucia and Renn.
Jwan described their relationship with their co-parent as “wonderful” in a September 2025 interview with Attitude. They have a stable and peaceful co-parenting arrangement, living just ten minutes apart and communicating every other day. Their children are a top priority for both of them.
He described it as more than just an experience, calling it a truly wonderful way of life.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, parents to Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, prioritize their children’s well-being as they navigate co-parenting. Brian emphasizes that the most important thing is to always focus on what’s best for the kids, acknowledging that a breakup will inevitably affect them, but the way it affects them is within their control. He believes it’s crucial to choose your battles, recognizing that disagreements existed during the relationship and won’t magically disappear after separation. Co-parenting, he explains, is a different dynamic than being in a relationship. Megan agrees, stressing the importance of never speaking negatively about the other parent, even subtly. She believes accepting and loving their father is essential, as he’s a fundamental part of their children’s identity and existence. She avoids allowing any negative energy around her kids, understanding that rejecting their father would be rejecting a part of them.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie continue to demonstrate a positive co-parenting relationship. Duhamel recently shared on The Jess Cagle Show how supportive Fergie has been, even welcoming his wife, Audra Mari, into the family. He expressed relief and gratitude for her kindness, noting that things could easily have been more difficult after their divorce was finalized in 2019 (following their 2017 separation).
Duhamel revealed that Fergie was genuinely happy for him and Audra when they announced they were expecting their son, Shepherd, who was born in January 2024. Shepherd joins older brother Axl, whom Duhamel shares with Fergie. Duhamel emphasized Fergie’s excitement for their growing family and how fortunate they are to have a respectful and amicable relationship.

Irina Shayk, who has a daughter named Lea with Bradley Cooper, doesn’t really like the idea of “co-parenting.” In a 2021 interview with ELLE, she explained that when she’s with her daughter, she’s fully a mother, and when Lea is with her dad, he’s fully her father. She believes parenting is simply parenting, regardless of the parents’ relationship status.
Irina and Bradley separated in 2019 after four years together, but they’ve remained friendly. Despite their busy lives, they continue to take family vacations, spend time together in New York, and support each other.
In a 2023 interview, Irina described Bradley as “the best father Lea and I could dream of,” adding that their successful co-parenting relationship works because they both actively make it work.

Finding a co-parenting groove takes time, as Mariah Carey knows well. Fortunately, she and Nick Cannon, parents to twins Moroccan and Monroe, have established a positive routine.
Nick described their relationship as a strong friendship, praising Mariah for the valuable lessons she’s taught him, emphasizing their bond as family. Mariah also expressed pride in how they’ve navigated co-parenting since their divorce in 2014, ensuring their children enjoy quality time with both parents. She wants to be fair to them, understanding the challenges of growing up with divorced parents.
Beyond Moroccan and Monroe, Nick is also father to Zion and Mixolydian, Zillion Heir and Beautiful Zeppelin (with Abby De La Rosa), Golden “Sagon,” Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah (with Brittany Bell), Legendary Love (with Bre Tiesi), Onyx Ice (with LaNisha Cole), and Halo Marie and the late Zen (with Alyssa Scott).

It’s impossible to talk about amicable breakups without mentioning Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. The Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay singer famously coined the term “consciously uncoupling” when they announced their separation in 2014.
Gwyneth explained on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2020 that prioritizing their children, Apple and Moses, was the key. “It’s harder than it looks,” she admitted. “Sometimes you really don’t want to be around the person you’re divorcing, but if you’re committed to family dinner, you do it. You take a deep breath, make eye contact, remember your agreement, smile, hug, and try to make a joke—you recommit to building this new relationship.”
The Goop founder emphasized that she and Martin will always remain a family. “That’s how it will be forever,” she said. “It’s not always perfect, and we have good days and bad days, but we’re working towards the same goal: unity, love, and what’s best for the kids. Just because you break up doesn’t mean you have to stop loving the qualities you once admired in that person.”

Following their divorce in 2022, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady have been navigating the challenges of co-parenting. In a 2024 interview with Robin Roberts, Gisele admitted some days are harder than others, but noted their children, Benjamin and Vivian, are smart and adaptable. She emphasized that she can only control her own actions. Gisele believes it’s all about finding balance, with both she and Tom spending time with the kids, allowing them to experience and learn from two different perspectives. Tom echoed this sentiment, explaining that he and Gisele are focused on raising their children—including Jack, his son with Bridget Moynahan—with love, kindness, empathy, and strong values, recognizing that their upbringing differs from their own.

Ben Affleck, having played a superhero himself, recognizes one in his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. He considers her a ‘superhero mom’ when it comes to raising their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Affleck, who divorced Garner in 2015 after several years of marriage, has praised her as an amazing mother and a great co-parent. Jennifer Lopez, who married Affleck in 2022 before filing for divorce in 2024, also acknowledged Garner’s skills as a co-parent, noting that she and Ben work well together to raise their children.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik broke up in 2021, but they’ve successfully continued to co-parent their daughter, Khai. Zayn shared in 2023 on the Call Her Daddy podcast that they have a strong relationship focused on Khai’s well-being, and things are going well. Gigi told The Sunday Times that the key is to prioritize the child’s happiness, as you’ll be co-parenting for a long time. She also expressed her happiness that Khai has the opportunity to spend time with both of her parents.

Khloe Kardashian is continuing to co-parent with her ex, Tristan Thompson, despite past difficulties. She’s admitted it’s challenging to maintain a positive relationship with him, especially considering his infidelity during their relationship, but she does it for their children, True and Tatum.
In an interview with tmrw in January 2024, Khloe explained that it’s hard to be friendly with someone you’re angry at, particularly in front of their kids. She’s learned to manage her emotions to avoid impulsive reactions she might regret. However, she believes being a kind person is always the right choice.
Ultimately, Khloe wants her children to have a strong bond with Tristan, who also has a son, Prince, with Jordan Craig, and another son, Theo, with Maralee Nichols. She feels that if a father wants to be involved in his children’s lives, she wouldn’t interfere with that.

Oh my gosh, I just love how Orlando and Miranda handle things! Even though they split up back in 2013, they’re seriously amazing co-parents to Flynn. And it’s not just them – Katy Perry is totally part of the picture, which makes me so happy for Orlando! Miranda actually said she adores Katy and is thrilled Orlando found someone who makes him happy, because Flynn’s happiness is what matters most. Isn’t that sweet? It’s like a blended family dream! And it doesn’t stop there! They’ve both expanded their families – Orlando and Katy have little Daisy Dove, and Miranda and Evan have Hart, Myles, and Pierre! Despite everything, they still manage to come together for special occasions. Miranda said they always figure things out and compromise for the good of the whole family, but Flynn is always their priority. It just warms my heart to see them all being so supportive and putting the kids first. They’re honestly relationship goals, even after a breakup!

Kate Hudson believes it’s important to maintain friendly relationships with her ex-husbands, Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy, even after the romantic connection has ended. She explained in a 2022 interview with The Sunday Times that she and Chris simply check in with each other periodically, especially as they co-parent their son Ryder. As for Matt, father to her son Bingham, she considers him a fantastic co-parent. She believes that love doesn’t simply disappear after a breakup, but can evolve into a different, positive connection. She finds it rewarding to focus on the shared love for their child when spending time with an ex. Kate is also a mother to daughter Rani, with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa. While her family structure might not be conventional, she feels incredibly strong and successful, creating a close-knit unit with her three children and their different fathers.

It can be challenging for divorced parents to get along, but Anna Faris says her relationship with her ex-husband, Chris Pratt, his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, and their children is improving. Faris, who shares son Jack with Pratt, told People magazine in 2022 that everyone is getting closer, and she’s grateful for that. She appreciates how protective both Chris and Katherine are of her, and she wants to be the same for them.
Faris described Katherine as “awesome” and praised how well she interacts with Jack. She also noted Katherine’s ability to handle everything with grace.
Now married to Michael Barrett, Faris says things feel much more peaceful and relaxed as time has passed, and she’s happy with how their blended family is functioning. She’s relieved to have moved past the difficult feelings she once had.

It’s helpful when parents who aren’t together can agree on things, and Mel B says it took her and Eddie Murphy some time to build that kind of cooperative relationship.
Mel B, of the Spice Girls, explained to Us Weekly in May 2025 that past trauma and controlling behavior made it difficult to build a strong relationship with Eddie Murphy. She said she slowly worked on improving things.
However, she added that their friendship has actually grown stronger in recent years, especially since they share a teenage daughter, Angel.
Mel B shared that Angel visits Murphy’s home, they enjoy spending time together, and even go on vacation together. She praised Murphy as a dedicated father to his ten children.

Even though the TV show The O.C. was known for its drama, Rachel Bilson and her ex-partner Hayden Christensen have a positive co-parenting relationship. In a 2024 interview with People, Bilson shared that things are going well and their daughter, Briar Rose, is thriving with plenty of support from both parents and their extended network.
