Ember Lab, the team behind the game Kena: Bridge of Spirits, has announced its next project: Kena: Scars of Kosmora. The sequel is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC later this year, and you can watch the reveal trailer above.
Thanks to support from PlayStation, the next Kena game is planned to be more expansive and improved compared to Bridge of Spirits. Players can expect more complex combat, a larger game world to explore, and more challenging boss battles. Here’s the official story outline:
Kena, a skilled Spirit Guide, journeys to the island of Kosmora hoping to heal a personal illness and find an old friend. She soon faces a dangerous corruption that breaks her staff – a vital tool for survival. To fix it, Kena must learn a forgotten and risky style of Spirit Guiding that lets her control the elements. Along the way, she’ll meet and befriend unique spirits, using their powers to overcome challenges and battle enemies with exciting new elemental abilities.
