If you’re looking forward to playing Kiln, the online pottery battle game from Double Fine, you can try it out now! An Open Beta is available on Steam until April 11th.
Beyond being free to play, there’s a lot to love about this game. It has a charming art style and a lighthearted feel, all built around the quirky idea of spirits living in clay pots. Players then engage in 4v4 battles, trying to soak their opponents’ kilns with water using both standard attacks and unique abilities tied to their pot’s design.
You can now pre-order the game and receive bonus items like stickers, glazes, and special lids for your pots – letting you customize your creations. There will also be an in-game store with even more options, but the developers, Double Fine Productions, have assured players that these items won’t give anyone an unfair advantage.
Overall, this looks like a really fun and unique movie. Check out the trailer below if you’re interested!
Kiln launches on April 23rd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
