Just before the 2026 Met Gala, the 45-year-old star shared that she’s keeping her outfit a complete secret until she arrives at the event in New York City. However, she did offer a small hint about how she’s planning to interpret this year’s “Fashion is Art” theme.

When a fan asked Kim Kardashian on X (formerly Twitter) who designed her outfit on May 4th, she playfully responded, “Hmmm, I don’t think you’ll be able to guess!”

Okay, so she’s being so secretive about her actual costume for the ‘Costume Art’ gala, which is killing me! But she did give us a tiny peek at her glam, and honestly, it’s everything. She posted that her makeup this year is going to be all about neutral bronze tones, and I’m already obsessed! I need to see the full look now!

Kim Kardashian got fans excited for this year’s Met Gala by sharing photos of her past outfits on Instagram, hinting that this would be her thirteenth time attending with a post saying “Year 13 loading…” on May 4th.

I’ve been following Kim’s Met Gala appearances ever since her first one back in 2013 with Kanye – she was glowing and showed off her baby bump in a beautiful floral Givenchy dress! Since then, she’s become a Met Gala staple, and it’s always a treat to see her arrive with her mom, Kris, and sisters Kourtney, Kylie, and Kendall. Khloe joined the fun in 2022, but she’s chosen to skip it in recent years, which is totally fine too!

Throughout her career, she’s frequently changed designers, having collaborated with brands like Balmain, Mugler, and Versace. For example, at last year’s Met Gala, which celebrated Black style through tailoring, she wore a black leather gown by Chrome Hearts.

The mother of four shared on Instagram that she was inspired by Lenny Kravitz, describing him as a stylish and innovative figure. She noted that his bold and fluid style, along with the looks of icons like Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis, helped define men’s fashion and continues to influence how men dress today.
