It basically combines everything I love about the Kindle Scribe – its awesome note-taking capabilities – with the beautiful color screen of the Kindle Colorsoft. They’ve really aimed to create the perfect device for reading and taking notes digitally, and honestly, it sounds like they’ve nailed it.
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is significantly more expensive – at least £120 more – than the standard Kindle Scribe, so potential buyers will likely wonder if the added cost is justified.

Is the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft available in the UK?
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft launched quietly in the UK in April and is available for purchase now, though it won’t ship until May 9th.
How much does the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft cost in the UK?
The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft starts at £569.99 for the 32GB version and £629.99 for 64GB.
This is significantly more expensive than the standard Kindle Scribe, which costs between £449.99 and £499.99 depending on how much storage you choose.
You can also try it with a three-month free trial of Kindle Unlimited. After the trial, it will automatically start costing £9.49 per month, but you can cancel anytime before the trial ends.

Both the Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft feature an 11-inch, glare-free screen with adjustable front lighting. They’re designed to feel like real paper, with a textured surface and a quick response time for a natural writing experience.
As you’d expect, the biggest difference between the two devices is color. The standard Kindle Scribe is black and white, but the Scribe Colorsoft lets you write and highlight in ten different pen colors and five highlighter shades. It even has a shading tool for creating softer color transitions. This means everything from recipes and comics to PDF documents will appear in full color.
The Scribe Colorsoft is available in two stylish colors: Graphite and a vibrant Fig, and both options are included in the price.

As a huge fan of reading and taking notes, I’ve been checking out the Kindle Scribe and Scribe Color, and they’re surprisingly similar! Basically, they’re like getting a regular Kindle e-reader and a digital notebook all in one. You can read pretty much any ebook, but also easily work with PDFs – highlighting, marking them up, and even writing notes directly on the screen. Plus, they connect to services like Google Drive and OneDrive, which is amazing because everything stays synced across all my devices, so I always have the latest version of my notes and documents.
This notebook lets you easily turn your handwritten notes into typed text. Plus, its smart AI search and chat features help you find information even if you don’t remember the exact words you used. You can also create summaries and have conversations about your notes to discover new ideas.
The main difference between the two models is battery life: the Scribe lasts for 12 weeks, while the Colorsoft lasts for 8.

The main difference between the Kindle Scribe and the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is simply the addition of color. It’s up to you to decide if that feature is worth the extra £120.
If you’re a visual person who enjoys using color and highlights, or even sketching in your digital notebooks, the Colorsoft is a great choice – black and white just doesn’t cut it!
If you’re simply looking for a basic e-reader and a digital notebook for taking notes in class or while working remotely, the Kindle Scribe is still an excellent choice and works well on its own.
