Konami has recently refocused on being a game publisher. While they’ve had big hits like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill 2, they’re also publishing smaller, more niche titles.
Darwin’s Paradox, a new game released earlier this year, is a fun platformer adventure. Created by ZeDrimeTim, it puts you in control of a blue octopus who constantly finds himself in trouble.
The publisher just released a new gameplay trailer, and it looks like it could be good fun:
It feels a bit like Oddworld – the atmosphere, how dramatic the gameplay is, and the challenging, precise platforming are all similar.

We’re happy to move forward with this, but it won’t be available until 2026. The trailer reveals the expected release timeframe.
It’ll be a bit before we can all get our hands on Darwin’s Paradox, but early signs are encouraging.
