Netflix has confirmed a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters is in development, but fans will have to wait a while for its release. To help pass the time, new merchandise and video game partnerships are planned. However, many are eager for more content in the meantime, and now a surprise KPop Demon Hunters short film has arrived, offering a funny new take on the story.
The unexpected happened: McDonaldâs is collaborating with KPop Demon Hunters! Theyâve launched two new meals inspired by the groups HUNTRâX and the Saja Boys. But it doesnât stop there â McDonaldâs and Sony also created a fun, new short film featuring both groups battling it out at a fan signing event. You can watch the video below.

The McDonaldâs and KPop Demon Hunters Short Is Ridiculously Fun

The latest video is set at the Fansign Event from the movie, specifically during the HUNTR/X signing where the Saja Boys make an appearance. In this scene, Rumi wishes Jinu well as he greets their fans, then announces the new HUNTR/X meal, which is served for lunch and dinner. Jinu then reveals the Saja Boys meal, which is only available for breakfast.
That’s when the two groups started playfully competing, highlighting the unique items in their meals. Mira announced they had Ramyeon McShaker Fries, and Abby countered by showing off their hash browns with abs, which got a really funny reaction from Zoey.
The new Adult Meals will each come in a special box and include an exclusive trading card featuring a member of the group they’re themed after. You can expect to find one card in each box. McDonald’s has shown sneak peeks of all the cards, and the first meals â the KPop Demon Hunters Adult Meals â will be available starting March 31st.

Throughout March, McDonaldâs is offering special Happy Meals tied to popular franchises. Starting March 26th, you can get a Super Mario Galaxy Happy Meal just before the release of KPop Demon Hunters. Itâs a great time for fans of these big names to visit McDonaldâs!
The new series, KPop Demon Hunters, is available to watch on Netflix, and a second season is already planned, though we don’t know when it will be released yet.
