Kris Jenner is not on Ozempic—Bible.
Kris Jenner recently shared that she briefly tried a weight loss drug like Ozempic, but it wasn’t right for her.
On the May 5th episode of the SheMD podcast, Kris shared that she and someone else attempted it once before it became well-known, and it unfortunately made her feel very ill.
She then contacted Dr. Thais Aliabadi, also known as Dr. A, who is a host of the SheMD podcast and Kris’ doctor.
I remember calling her and telling her I couldn’t work anymore because I was so sick and felt nauseous. She responded by saying she wanted to try a different approach.
She and Dr. Aliabadi explored various treatments before deciding on a mix of peptide injections—not the same as Ozempic or other GLP-1 injections—along with supplements.
“That really made a difference,” the mom explained. “It gave me a couple of extra hours in the evenings. I wake up so early that once I finish work, see my kids, and have dinner, I just want to relax and unwind.”
After starting to take supplements, I noticed a real boost in my energy levels. Plus, it seemed to improve the health of my hair, nails, and skin.

She explained that it had a significant impact on her, because understanding your thyroid and hormone levels helps you understand what your body requires.
Kris isn’t the only famous person who has tried GLP-1 medications – some have stopped using them too. Here’s a look at other celebrities who have openly discussed their experiences with these drugs.
For Kris Jenner, who is a mother to Kourtney (47), Kim (45), Khloe (41), Rob (39), Kendall (20), and Kylie (28), regularly monitoring her hormone levels has been very important.
I’m really committed to my health, so I get my hormone levels checked with a blood test every three months. I learned after turning 45 how incredibly important that is for women’s physical wellbeing, and honestly, for men too! I actually encourage my son to get his hormone levels checked regularly, just to stay on top of things and understand what’s going on with his body.
She explained that understanding her thyroid was transformative, as it led her to focus on her overall hormone health and what her body truly needed.
Kris isn’t alone—many celebrities have tried GLP-1 medications, with varying results. Here’s a look at some who’ve openly discussed their experiences.

Before appearing on Dancing With the Stars, the star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives shared that she was using semaglutide injections – sold as Ozempic and Wegovy – to help with weight loss.

After experiencing a health scare, Jonathan decided to schedule a colonoscopy. If everything checked out, he planned to try a GLP-1 medication, as he simply wasn’t feeling his best, he explained in a TikTok video.
Jonathan shared that he’s in the best shape of his life after losing weight and starting Pilates at Solidcore. He said, ‘I’ve always wanted abs, and I finally have them!’ He also mentioned feeling so good that he’s been showing off his physique more often.

They took on the intense 75 Hard challenge and felt great doing it, as Meghan shared on their podcast, Workin’ On It. They also started noticing that many friends – and even some doctors – were using medications like Mounjaro and Ozempic.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m always thrilled to hear about couples prioritizing wellness together! I recently learned that Daryl and I both decided to start with the smallest effective dose of Mounjaro, and we’ve been really committed to pairing it with regular exercise and eating a healthy, balanced diet. It’s been a journey we’ve taken on together, and it’s been amazing to have that support!

Kendra Wilkinson, known from the show Girls Next Door, tried a weight loss injection once. She shared on Instagram in April 2025 that she only used it one time and then decided to stop, saying she was throwing it away.
She started using GLP-1 medication again in March 2026, explaining on Instagram that she was approaching it more deliberately this time.
It wasn’t just about losing weight for me,” she explained. “I wanted to feel healthier, have more energy, and learn to trust the journey instead of trying to speed things up. I was looking for an approach that was honest, encouraging, and fit into my everyday life.

In March 2025, the host of the Golden Globes spoke out in support of Ozempic, encouraging people to feel comfortable discussing their use of the medication.
She enthusiastically shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she fully supports anyone considering Ozempic, saying, ‘I’m all for it! Do what makes you happy, I don’t judge.’
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed a lot of unnecessary shame around people changing their bodies, and I really want to break that down. Honestly, I believe that shame often comes from others – specifically, people who are comfortable with you staying as you were. It’s almost like they’re upset when you start prioritizing your health and well-being because, perhaps, they feel threatened by your growth and confidence. They may feel like that’s the only thing they have to define themselves, and when you evolve, it challenges that. It’s about you reclaiming your power and feeling good, and that can be incredibly empowering!

She explained that a certain treatment didn’t reduce her appetite at all. Unlike some people who lost their desire to eat, she continued to enjoy appetizers, a full meal, and even dessert. She admitted feeling down when she saw it worked for others but not for her, leading her to question what was different about her and why she wasn’t experiencing the same results. She shared these thoughts in June 2024.

I’m not a medical expert, but I’ve seen a lot of information about what treatments are effective and what isn’t,” she said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “I believe Ozempic can be helpful, but it also carries some risks.

In a March 2024 interview with The New York Times Magazine, Kate confessed she wasn’t familiar with Ozempic, saying, “All I know is that it’s some pill people are taking.”
“Oh, my God,” Kate remarked after learning about the injectable. “This sounds terrible.”

In December 2023, the star of The Hills shared that she had recently lost 22 pounds without using Ozempic. But while she tried the drug, Handler noted that she didn’t like how it made her feel.
She remembered returning from vacation and immediately using the medication. A few days later, while having lunch with a friend, her friend mentioned feeling very sick and revealed she was taking Ozempic. The woman realized she was also feeling unwell, but initially attributed it to jet lag from her trip to Spain.
I was so relieved to hear that Handler decided to stop taking the medication. She realized she didn’t actually need it, which is fantastic! And she was incredibly generous – she shared any leftover doses with friends who could benefit. It just shows what a thoughtful person she is.
