It appears Lamar Odom has found a new teammate.
Former Los Angeles Lakers player recently hinted at a new relationship with real estate agent Rachel Bradley in a heartwarming post on Instagram on April 13th.
I was so excited to see the video of Lamar and Taylor walking together at Crypto.com stadium! And then he posted with a rocket emoji saying, “I’m back!” – it totally made my day! It feels so good to have him back.
The retired NBA player attended the game to watch his old team play against the Utah Jazz, and his former team won with a final score of 131-107.
But while the game itself was a win for Lamar, he was more focused on the company.
The 46-year-old man was seen cozying up to Rachel at the basketball game, with his arm around her. They even appeared on the big screen, a moment Rachel shared on her Instagram Story on April 14th.
Although neither Lamar Odom, who was once engaged to Sabrina Parr in 2020, nor Rachel have officially confirmed they are dating, Rachel subtly referenced the basketball star on her social media. She added his initials, “LO,” and a purple and gold emoji to her Instagram bio.
TopMob News reached out to a rep for Lamar for additional comment but has not yet heard back.
Lamar Odom appears to be open to a new relationship following the release of his Netflix documentary, Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom. The film honestly portrays his struggles with addiction, and includes Khloe Kardashian—his wife from 2009 to 2016—discussing the challenges she faced while caring for him.

Khloe shared in a recent documentary that she stayed at the hospital for four months, spending every day with her loved one. They were both committed to helping him regain his ability to walk and move.
Lamar, who has three children – Destiny (27), LJ (24), and Jayden (20) – with his former partner Liza Morales, thanked Khloe for supporting him through a tough time. However, he recently disagreed with her statement that she saved his life.
He shared on the Today show earlier this month that he believes God saved his life, saying, “My lord honestly saved my life.”

Khloe and Lamar first connected in 2009 at a party Khloe hosted, thrown by his Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Ron Artest, who later changed his name to Metta World Peace.
Khloe admitted in the Netflix documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom that she didn’t know Lamar Odom before the party she attended. She explained she likely agreed to participate because her brother, Rob Kardashian—a big Lakers fan—was really enthusiastic about it.
Lamar, recently crowned a champion with the Lakers, shared in the documentary that he also didn’t recognize Khloe at first. He confessed that he was immediately attracted to her, saying, ‘To be honest, I tried to hook up with her that first night.’ But Khloe made it clear she wasn’t interested in that kind of encounter. They connected the following day, and that quickly led to a continuing relationship.
Just weeks after they started dating, he proposed with a nine-carat diamond ring. They married on September 27, 2009, only a month after their first meeting.
Okay, so I try to be rational, I really do. But honestly? The way people were questioning whether Tristan and I were actually serious… I totally got it! Like, we were planning a wedding in thirty days! Seriously, thirty days! It was absolutely wild, and looking back, I can’t blame anyone for being skeptical. It all happened so fast!
As Lamar put it, “You gotta have a gut feeling” and “some big balls.”

Oh my gosh, Lamar and Liza, they were high school sweethearts, you know? They grew up together in Queens, New York. They have a daughter, Destiny, and a son, L.J., who’s so cute! But it’s so heartbreaking… they also had a little boy, Jayden, who was only six months old when he tragically passed away from SIDS. It was June 29th, 2006, and it just completely broke them up. It’s just… so sad. They couldn’t stay together after that loss.
In her memoir, Untold, Liza remembered being shocked when Lamar texted her about his marriage to Khloe, initially believing he was joking.
I was really hurt reading Lamar’s statement. He said people were actively trying to discourage him from going through with the wedding, and even more heartbreaking, the mother of his children wouldn’t allow their kids to be there. It just sounds like a lot of people were working against him on what should have been a happy day.
L.J. later enjoyed receiving Christmas presents from Khloe and her mother, Kris Jenner. However, at the time, he said in a documentary that he hadn’t even met Kris and didn’t think his father had told him he was marrying her.
Destiny, who is 27, explained in the document that if someone wants a big wedding with lots of guests and cameras, that’s perfectly fine and their choice.

The reality show Khloe & Lamar first aired on April 10, 2011, on TopMob. It felt like a logical extension of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which had already led to other spin-offs like Khloe & Kourtney Take Miami and Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
But that was not Khloe’s idea, according to the now 41-year-old.
According to the documentary, the show Khloe & Lamar was largely driven by Lamar. Khloe felt stretched too thin and was worried about damaging the family’s reputation, which at the time centered around Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She pointed out that he already had a successful career with the Lakers and questioned whether he really wanted to pursue another show.
Khloé explained that filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians let her move around and avoid constant public attention. She was initially a bit worried about a new show being filmed in their home constantly, but she also wanted to support her partner, who was very enthusiastic about the project.
Destiny said of her dad, “He did love Khloe, but he’d wanted to be on reality TV for a long time.”
As Lamar explained in the document, he agreed to participate fully, stating, “If I’m going to marry you, I want to be involved in everything.”

Liza remembered in the documentary that after the Lakers won their second consecutive NBA championship in 2010, her children skipped school to go to the celebratory parade in downtown Los Angeles.
When they arrived at his home, they received a call saying he wasn’t responding when they knocked, even though they knew he was inside.
“We were knocking on the door and there was nothing,” Destiny said, “it was just silence.”
Liza mentioned that Lamar’s friend called and explained he’d been out late and didn’t want his kids to see him in that state, so he was likely to miss the parade. But his trainer insisted he attend, and ultimately, his children watched the event on television.
“They were just heartbroken,” Liza explained. Destiny added that being rejected by a parent is incredibly painful and can really hinder someone’s growth. “There are certain moments you just can’t shake,” she said. “It all makes sense now, knowing he was struggling with partying and substance use.”

Khloe admitted that, surprisingly, Lamar’s early cocaine use seemed handled responsibly, according to the documentary.
It was about two years into his career, I think around June, that he just…vanished. Honestly, I was terrified something awful had happened to him. I really, really worried.
Khloe explained that he was struggling because June is the month of Jayden’s death anniversary. She added that it was then she realized he was going through something completely new and difficult, and she didn’t know how to help.
Lamar, who is now 46, explained in the documentary that he believes he’s forgotten many stories from that period of his life, likely due to the circumstances he was in.
He paused, then said, “It’s unbelievable to even consider cheating on my wife. How messed up would someone have to be? To marry someone on television and then be unfaithful… it’s just wrong.”
Khloe remembered the night she found out Lamar was being unfaithful. She’d had her suspicions, but never any proof, until a woman called and bluntly told her, “I’ve been having an affair with your husband. He’s a mess, constantly asking for money and drugs, and I’m done with it. Can you please come get him?”

Khloe remembered that Lamar would often leave rehab—sometimes for as little as twelve hours, other times for a couple of days—and then go on a drug-fueled spree. She spent time desperately searching for him in rundown places like alleys and cheap motels. He’d leave drug paraphernalia—like pieces of tinfoil or spoons—scattered around wherever he went.
She explained she constantly had to tidy hotel rooms after him to prevent hotel staff from leaking stories to the press. She admitted she unknowingly helped facilitate his behavior, feeling obligated to keep everything hidden and protect him.
Lamar’s drug use became extremely problematic after he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in December 2011, according to her.

The following summer, Lamar returned to the L.A. Clippers, the team that originally drafted him in 1999.
Following the end of the 2012-2013 season, he relapsed into drug use, becoming increasingly reckless, Khloe explained. He overdosed multiple times, and she privately had to help him, even pumping his stomach. They tried to manage his detox at home, doing everything they could to help him.

Khloe told Lamar he had a choice: get three months of treatment in rehab, or she would file for divorce. An intervention specialist advised her to deliver this ultimatum.
Khloe remembered everyone thinking her husband would never admit he wanted a divorce. During an intervention, after she spoke, he surprisingly said he just wanted his passport and then agreed to move forward with the divorce, using strong language.
In the documentary, Lamar explained that right after he finalized his divorce in 2015, he felt motivated to get back to his old habits, but realized he didn’t have any drugs.
Living in Las Vegas at the time, he ended up at the Love Ranch, a legal brothel in Crystal, Nev.
Lamar pointed out how remarkable it is that even a small choice can have a huge impact, not just on your own life, but on the lives of those you care about most.

On October 13, 2015, Lamar was discovered unconscious at the Love Ranch. According to the Nye County sheriff, witnesses reported he had used cocaine in the days leading up to the incident and had taken ten doses of an erectile dysfunction drug since arriving at the ranch.
Before the release of Untold, Lamar explained to Sports Illustrated that although drugs were found in his system later, he hadn’t established a source for cocaine in Las Vegas and hadn’t used any that particular day or night.
In an interview with USA Today, he strongly denied bringing cocaine to the brothel, explaining he was upset about recently signing divorce papers. He admitted he’d imagined going to the brothel with cocaine as a way to cope with the situation, but that didn’t happen.

Khloe said she simply screamed when her sister, Kim Kardashian, told her that Lamar had overdosed.
When Khloe arrived at the hospital, she learned that Lamar’s father, Joe Odom, who passed away in 2021, was prepared to remove him from life support. Khloe protested, reminding Joe that she was still legally married to Lamar and asking what he needed. Joe requested a pair of Nike shoes, $100, and a hotel room for the night. After receiving these items, he left and never returned.
Khloe explained that she was determined to give him every possible advantage in the fight. She ultimately relied on her own judgment more than anyone else around him.
She restricted visits, requiring her approval for anyone who wanted to come over.

Lamar was transported by plane from Las Vegas to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and Khloe stayed at the hospital constantly, as she shared in Untold. She was there with him every day for approximately four months.
After Lamar was released from the hospital in 2016, Khloe rented a house near hers for him and arranged for caregivers to look after him.
According to the court documents, Khloe said she walked in one day and immediately smelled crack cocaine. She found him smoking it in the bedroom and reacted by punching him in the face.
She explained that he’d gotten a phone and seemed to be doing surprisingly well, but she realized he was manipulating her to keep supporting him. She told him he had until Monday to move out, that she would no longer pay for anything, and that she never wanted to talk to him again.
When Lamar and Khloe reunited in late 2024 after nine years apart, he told her he didn’t recall the events of the past, but he also acknowledged that doesn’t mean they didn’t happen.
He expressed extreme frustration in the document, using strong language to describe being given cocaine, especially considering his recent experiences.
“I can depend on my family,” he reflected, “but most people leave you to f–king rot in the wind.”
