Prime Video has renewed ‘Last One Laughing’ for a third season and will also release a special Halloween episode.
The hilarious competition where comedians try to avoid smiling or laughing – the last one keeping a straight face wins – is returning for a third season in 2027. A special Halloween version will premiere later in 2026.
Jimmy Carr is back to host the third season and a Halloween special of the show, with Roisin Conaty as his co-host. They’ll be challenging a new group of comedians to try and make each other laugh without cracking a smile, according to the streaming service.
New episodes of Last One Laughing season two are now available on Prime Video, releasing each week until the final episode airs on April 2nd.
The second season of the show welcomes back popular comedians like Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Mel Giedroyc, and David Mitchell, along with last year’s winner, Bob Mortimer.

Mortimer recently shared with TopMob magazine that he believes his past win didn’t give him any special benefit.
He described his immediate reaction upon arriving: he instantly sensed a shift in atmosphere and realized it would be a difficult challenge. He quickly identified Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, and David Mitchell as his main competition and felt he didn’t stand a chance.
He explained that he wasn’t as familiar with some of the newer comedians, but added that’s actually a good thing. He said, surprisingly, you can become quite close to people during the show’s intense six-hour filming sessions.
“At my age, you like seeing young people doing good, and they were really funny. It was a joy.”
Hey, if you’re looking for a good laugh, the first three episodes of Last One Laughing UK Season 2 just dropped on Prime Video! And if you somehow missed it the first time around, you can stream all of Season 1 right now too. Seriously, it’s hilarious!
