LEGO Skylines by Paradox Interactive Rated for Release in South Korea

South Korea’s game ratings board has given LEGO Skylines, published by Paradox Interactive, a rating that allows players of all ages to enjoy the game. This all-ages rating fits with the family-friendly nature of LEGO games.

Although neither LEGO nor Paradox Interactive has officially announced LEGO Skylines, a game rating was recently obtained. The rating was applied for on March 25th and approved on April 9th. While a rating doesn’t guarantee a release date, it suggests the game could be released in the coming months.

So, Paradox is calling the new game LEGO Skylines, which immediately makes me think they’re bringing the city-building fun of Cities: Skylines into the LEGO universe. I’m guessing it’ll be a LEGO-themed city builder, probably set in a modern world, but maybe a bit simpler to play. It sounds like they’re trying to appeal to both younger players and us long-time city-building fans.

Paradox Interactive is expected to announce LEGO Skylines soon, and the reveal will likely happen during one of the upcoming summer gaming events. The Insider Gaming Showcase on May 29th is a strong possibility. Depending on how detailed the game is, it could also be shown at the Summer Game Fest Showcase on June 6th, or the PC Gaming Show on June 8th, which often features city-building games.

I’ve been really getting into LEGO games lately, and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is amazing! It came out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S and everyone’s loving it. I’m hearing rumors that they might be adding Task Force X as playable characters in some DLC, which would be awesome. Plus, they’re apparently planning a version for the next Nintendo Switch too, whenever that comes out – that’s going to be a must-buy!

This month also saw the removal of LEGO 2K Drive from online stores. The 2023 driving game, created by Visual Concepts, received a mixed reception. Our review gave it a 6/10, highlighting its diverse environments and smooth driving, but noting issues with the AI and a lack of challenging gameplay.

In September 2025, a new LEGO game called LEGO Voyagers launched on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S, and both Nintendo Switch models. Developed by Light Brick Studio, this co-op game features two tiny LEGO bricks on a quest to save a forgotten spaceship. Players will need to use creative, LEGO-inspired solutions to overcome puzzles and enemies during their adventure.

We rated LEGO Voyagers a 7 out of 10. We liked that it was affordable, used a clever ‘Friend Pass’ system, and encouraged players to work together and figure things out on their own. However, we thought the game involved too much going back over old ground, the missions felt repetitive (mostly involving collecting items), and the graphics made it hard to judge distances.
