Leonardo DiCaprio’s heart is going on.
Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, were photographed sharing a sweet moment while shopping in Los Angeles on December 26th, according to photos published by TMZ.
Leonardo, 51, and Vittoria, 27, enjoyed a casual outing that included shopping and a bite to eat. They then shared a tender kiss, offering a rare glimpse of affection.
The couple dressed down for their shopping outing, both choosing all-black outfits. The model wore a long black coat with a comfortable sweater, and the actor kept warm and dry in the Los Angeles rain with a black tracksuit and puffer jacket.
Leonardo and Vittoria began dating in 2023, but they didn’t publicly acknowledge their relationship until the Met Gala in May 2025. Leonardo has said he deliberately keeps parts of his personal life private.
He told Time magazine earlier this month that he’s been trying to juggle this for his entire adult life, but he still doesn’t feel like he’s mastered it.
He explained his straightforward approach: only create or share work when you have a meaningful message or something worthwhile to present. Otherwise, he believes it’s best to stay out of the spotlight.
The actor, known for his role in Once Upon a Time, says his views on relationships have changed as he’s gotten older.
He explained to Esquire in August that it inspires a desire for greater honesty and a focus on what truly matters. He wonders how things will change in the coming years, noting that his mother, for instance, is refreshingly direct and doesn’t bother with pretense or wasting time being someone she’s not.
Leo said that as he’s gotten older, he’s become more careful about who he lets into his close group of friends and family.
He explained that being honest and direct, even if it means a relationship might end – whether personal or professional – is about valuing your time. He believes it’s important to be upfront, almost as a duty, because you’ve lived more of your life already than you have left.
