Okay, so the news is finally official! Life is Strange: Reunion is coming out on March 26th! I first heard about it through a leak, but Square Enix and Deck Nine just confirmed it. It’s gonna be on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. I just watched the first trailer, and it looks like we’re finally seeing Chloe Price again, but things aren’t looking good – looks like there’s a new drama we’ll have to deal with as players.
Following the events of Double Exposure, Price finds Max Caulfield working as a photographer at Caledon University. Though they were close friends after the first Life is Strange game, they hadn’t seen each other in a while. Now, troubled by bizarre nightmares – things that feel like they shouldn’t be real – Chloe reaches out to Max for help. But they soon discover a terrible danger: a massive fire is predicted to destroy the university and everyone in it.
Beyond the main plot, the story explores the complex relationship between the two characters, the return of Safi who supports the coming disaster, and other personal conflicts. Like previous games in the series, Reunion is a story-driven adventure where your choices have real consequences. While the ending is still uncertain, you’ll experience the story from the perspectives of both Chloe and Max.
