Okay, so I’m super excited – Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes is officially coming out on April 24th! Bandai Namco and Iconik just announced it’ll be available for PlayStation VR2, SteamVR, and Meta Quest. I’ve been waiting for this one!
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Dark Six is on a haunting journey to recover what was lost, herself.
Only by reuniting with her other self can she escape a monstrous fate.
Face Your Most Immersive Nightmare
Step into the unsettling world of Little Nightmares like never before with this VR experience. See, hear, and feel the terror firsthand as the line between nightmare and reality fades. Explore a twisted world full of intricate puzzles, hidden pathways, and dark secrets revealed through every interaction.
Experience the Oppressive Atmosphere
Step into a strange and unsettling world where you feel small and vulnerable against enormous, distorted surroundings. Everything feels subtly off, pulling you into a confusing and uncomfortable reality. A constant sense of danger hides in the shadows, and each step you take feels risky and uncertain. You’ll be gripped by a persistent feeling of unease.
Put the Pieces Together
There’s something intriguing hidden beneath your fear. Your adventure isn’t just about staying alive – it’s about finding yourself again, reconnecting with a lost part of who you are. You’ll explore bizarre new places and face frightening enemies, but you’ll also recognize glimpses of the past, suggesting hidden connections. As you learn more about Six’s history and the strange Transmission, you’ll start to question who you are and where you truly belong.
Why are you here? What is your purpose in this distorted world?
As you solve each puzzle and uncover each secret, you get closer to understanding who you are and fixing what’s been fractured.
The unsettling places you explore hold clues to what happened before, hinting at secret relationships and suggesting your adventure is connected to a bigger story. Uncovering these secrets will force you to battle dangers both around you and within yourself, as you grapple with how much you’re changing…
