Anya Taylor-Joy, known for her roles in New Mutants and Queen’s Gambit, is joining the cast of The Hunt for Gollum, a new film connected to The Lord of the Rings. She will play Seren, an original character created for the film – a skilled and dangerous elf who works for King Thranduil. This character doesn’t appear in J.R.R. Tolkien’s original writings.
