Love Island USA’s Taylor Reacts to Accusations He Led on Olandria

Taylor Williams is speaking out on accusations that he led on Olandria Carthen.

Previously eliminated contestant from Love Island USA, who was sent home together with Clarke Carraway on July 8, stated that his initial attraction was towards Olandria, before he formed a partnership with Clarke instead.

In the unique interview with TopMob News, Taylor expressed his genuine fascination towards her, saying, “Had things not worked out with Clarke, I would’ve continued my musical journey with Olandria as it was a true connection.

He emphasized that our bond was exceptionally strong, stating, ‘There was no one else in the house who matched the depth of our connection. It’s clear we truly cared for each other, but my feelings for Clarke were unique compared to those for Olandria.’

Taylor, aged 24, enthusiastically expressed his instant attraction towards Clarke, who is likewise 24, upon her entrance into the villa as a fresh addition.

He put it this way: “It felt like an immediate bond, an instant chemistry, a unique sensation I only feel with Clarke. And when it came to seizing this opportunity, I couldn’t resist, as my goal is to find someone who I can share life beyond these walls with.

Originating from Oklahoma, the individual firmly reiterated that he had trusted his feelings throughout the doubts expressed by viewers regarding his romance with Clarke.

He expressed his doubt: “I can’t figure out how it’s a lie,” he said. “If it was a fabrication, given our strong connection, I would have picked Olandria and stuck with her until the end to play it safe. That would have been me deceiving, saying ‘Clarke, when I get out of here, I’ll text you,’ that would have been me deceiving, but choosing Clarke was clearly following my instincts.

In response, Clarke shared similar thoughts, stating, “I’m poor at pretending. I never tell lies. I’m genuinely truthful. To be quite frank, feigning or lying? That seems absurd to me.

Regarding Olandria, Clarke holds no grudge against her Island companion, even though their complicated love triangle, which frequently created tension in the villa, has passed.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but express my deep affection for her. If given the chance, I yearn for more than just our shared time in the villa – I dream of forging a friendship beyond its walls. Provided it’s something she feels at ease with, I wholeheartedly embrace that possibility.

Taylor consented, in fact, he was generous enough to offer his approval to Olandria and Nic Vansteenberghe, the couple currently featured on the program, for their relationship.

“I have no problem with Olandria,” he said. “I’m rooting for her and Nic.”

“I have no bad blood of it,” Taylor added, “Yeah, me and Olandria can be friends after this.”
