Major Shonen Jump Anime Reveals Season 3 Release Date Ahead of July Premiere

A popular anime series published in Shueisha’s Jump magazines will return with new episodes this summer. A release date has finally been announced for the third season! It’s been a fantastic year for fans of Shonen Jump anime, with both highly anticipated new shows and returning favorites like Jujutsu Kaisen. And there’s even more to look forward to, as this series is gearing up for its third season.

The anime series The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You is progressing as expected, with the main character, Rentaro Aijo, steadily working towards gaining 100 girlfriends. After two seasons, he’s already won over 11, and the third season, arriving this summer, promises even more romantic interests. A sneak peek at Season 3 is available now, ahead of its July 5th premiere.

The 100 Girlfriends Season 3 Confirms July 2026 Release Date

Season 3 of 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You premieres in Japan on July 5th. Currently, it’s unknown if the season will be available for streaming outside of Japan, but Crunchyroll, which streams the first two seasons, is a likely candidate. The new season will also introduce six new potential love interests for Aijo, adding to the already complicated situation.

So far, Kaori Ishihara and Ayana Taketatsu have been cast as Chiyo Iin and Nadi, two of Rentaro’s new girlfriends. Anime designs have been released for three more – Yamame Yasashiki, Momiji Momi, and Kishika Torotoro – but voice actors haven’t been announced for them yet. The final girlfriend remains a mystery, only appearing briefly on the latest poster. We’ll learn more about all these new characters this summer as Rentaro’s group grows closer to having twenty members.

What to Know for The 100 Girlfriends Season 3

Season 3 of 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You will have the same team working on it as before! Hikaru Sato is directing again for Bibury Animation Studio, with Takashi Aoshima writing the scripts, Akane Yano designing the characters, and Shuhei Mutsuki and Shunsuke Takizawa composing the music at Lantis. If you haven’t seen the show yet, it’s definitely worth checking out!

This romance series, published in Weekly Young Jump, is known for being unconventional. What really sets it apart is that the main character develops full relationships with every female lead. Interestingly, fans often connect more with the male protagonist than with the heroines, appreciating his dedication to making everyone happy.
