Nintendo has just given fans a sneak peek at a classic Super Mario Bros. power-up appearing in their new movie – something many were hoping to see after it wasn’t included in the last film.
The highly anticipated sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, is scheduled to come out on April 3rd. Chris Pratt and Charlie Day will reprise their roles as Mario and Luigi, and Anya Taylor-Joy and Jack Black are back as Princess Peach and Bowser, respectively. The entire voice cast returns from the hugely successful 2023 film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which earned over $1.36 billion around the world.
Nintendo will be holding a presentation about the upcoming Super Mario movie this Sunday at 6 a.m. Pacific Time / 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The presentation will be streamed on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel, and the thumbnail currently shows Mario and Luigi throwing fireballs – a notable addition since ‘Fire Mario’ wasn’t included in the previous movie.
