Marvel announced that the last installment in the WandaVision story will be available on Disney+ this October. This will mark the return of Paul Bettany as the android superhero, who hasn’t appeared in five years.
The series began in 2021 with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) creating a strange, sitcom-like alternate reality in the small town of Westview. She did this while dealing with the grief of losing her partner, Vision (Paul Bettany).
The series ended by revealing White Vision, a completely white version of the character created from what was left of the original. However, this new Vision had no memories or feelings from his past life.
I was on the edge of my seat when that incredible character blasted off into the sky! We didn’t know where they were going, but I’m so excited to find out in the new Vision Quest miniseries. It’s coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, and I’ve already marked my calendar!

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m so excited for what they’re calling the end of a three-part story! It started with WandaVision, then the fun spin-off Agatha All Along, and now Vision Quest. Together, these shows are really diving deep into Wanda Maximoff, her family, and everyone connected to her – it’s going to be a complete look at her story.
This is the first of the three shows not written by Jac Schaeffer. Terry Matalas, known for his work on Star Trek: Picard, is now the showrunner.

I’m so excited to hear James Spader is coming back as Ultron! He was absolutely terrifying – and fascinating – in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, and it’s really cool to think about his character having a sort of father-son dynamic with Vision. It adds a whole new layer to everything, and I can’t wait to see what he does with the role again.
Interestingly, James Spader didn’t reprise his role for the Ultron storyline in the animated Marvel series What If…?. Instead, Ross Marquand, who previously filled in for Hugo Weaving as Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War, took over the part.
This marks James Spader’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after over ten years, and he’s joined by other familiar faces who haven’t been seen in a while.
Faran Tahir will unexpectedly reprise his role as Raza, a terrorist who captured Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in the first Iron Man movie, which came out in 2008.
I’m really excited about the new direction the MCU is taking with ‘Vision Quest’! They’ve added some fantastic new faces – T’Nia Miller, who I loved in ‘Gangs of London,’ will be playing the android Jocasta. And Todd Stashwick, great as always, is joining as the bounty hunter Paladin. But honestly, I’m most intrigued to see Ruaridh Mollica as a grown-up Billy, Wanda and Vision’s son. It’s going to be wild to see how his story unfolds!
Jett Klyne previously portrayed the young version of this character in both WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This new, older actor fits with the recent reintroduction of his twin brother, Billy, as an adult – a storyline established by Agatha Harkness and played by Joe Locke from Heartstopper.
Marvel’s Vision Quest is coming to Disney+ in October. Sign-up to Disney+ from £4.99 a month.
