Arc System Works continues to announce the playable characters for its new tag-team fighting game, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. During the recent PlayStation State of Play presentation, they revealed a few more additions to the starting roster, and it turns out many of them share a common enemy: Spider-Man.
The newest trailer for the game showed off Magneto, Green Goblin, and Carnage as playable characters when it releases on August 6th for PlayStation 5 and PC, costing $59.99. These villains will join Doctor Doom to form the Knights of Doom team. Fans may recall hints about Carnage appearing in the Black Panther and Hulk trailer released back in May.
Marvel Tokon Just Got Three More Notable Villains
James Arnold Taylor, famous for voicing Ratchet, will play Magneto, while Steve Blum, known as Wolverine in many projects, will voice Green Goblin. Kellen Goff, who recently starred in Five Nights at Freddy’s, is taking on the role of Carnage. The trailer highlights each villain’s signature style: Magneto controls metal, the Green Goblin uses bombs and a glider, and Carnage attacks with symbiote-enhanced tentacles and claws. The game will be set in a New York City environment, which is perfect for a Spider-Man story.
Just one team remains to be announced. The trailer showed that Ghost Rider will be leading them. With the game launching soon, we’ll find out who they are very shortly.
