It’s been more than 40 years since He-Man and the Masters of the Universe first appeared, and fans have been waiting a long time for a truly great movie adaptation (no offense to Dolph Lundgren’s version!).
The wait is finally over! The new Masters of the Universe movie is now in theaters, and it’s turning out to be a surprisingly enjoyable film.
What really stands out in Travis Knight’s new movie—besides the action with swords and lasers—is its fantastic soundtrack, which strongly evokes the feeling of 1980s music.
The filmmakers clearly delivered on their vision, building a lively and immersive world enhanced by a powerful, rock-infused soundtrack. It includes music from artists like Queen’s Brian May and The Darkness.
And don’t worry, fans of a certain legendary meme won’t be disappointed.
Read on for the full list of songs to appear in Masters of the Universe.
