Since its first announcement, Masters of the Universe has been carefully sharing glimpses of the movie. Now, as the release date nears, we’re seeing even more new footage. Following previews at CinemaCon and the release of an international trailer, a new TV spot has arrived, and it contains significantly more previously unseen clips. The spot highlights characters like Man-At-Arms, the Skel-Knights, Teela, Fisto, and Skeletor. You can watch the new footage below.
The latest footage is packed with action from the fight between He-Man’s team and Skeletor’s army. It appears to show the heroes attempting a daring escape from prison, mixed with flashbacks of Skeletor’s conquest of Eternia. We see a line of Skel-Knights targeting the heroes, followed by Fisto and other soldiers charging into battle, with Fisto landing a powerful punch. There’s also new footage of Teela fighting Eastman, Man-At-Arms firing a cannon, and even a fresh line of dialogue from Skeletor. You can watch the footage below.

Masters of the Universe Is Keeping Most of Skeletor’s Scenes Under Wraps

Each trailer has offered just a brief look at Skeletor, and so far, we’ve only seen small parts of scenes with him. The action sequences are exciting, but the dialogue scenes are particularly interesting, especially hearing a fresh take on how this classic villain sounds.
Based on the CinemaCon footage, Jared Leto’s Skeletor will definitely imitate the classic cartoon’s exaggerated laugh and voice at least once. However, the trailers offer a more representative sample of his usual voice, including a scene from the latest clip.
The trailer kicks off with a battle already in progress. As He-Man turns, Skeletor narrates, “Let me show you what real power looks like.” This line might come before their fight, during it, or even at another point in the story. We previously saw a scene where Skeletor taunts He-Man about having power but being afraid to use it, so the line could fit there. For now, we’ll have to wait to see exactly when and how it’s used.
Masters of the Universe is set to hit theaters on June 5th, 2026.
