To celebrate the release of DOOM: The Dark Ages in May, McFarlane Toys launched their first 7-inch scale Elite Edition action figure of the Doom Slayer. Now, a new version of the Doom Slayer featuring the Phalanx Skin will be available on September 23rd. This figure includes a code you can redeem in the game to unlock the skin. Here are the details if you’re interested in purchasing one.
Just to clarify, this new Doom Slayer figure won’t be an ‘Elite’ version like the previous one. McFarlane Toys announced it will be a standard figure priced at $34.99. While it won’t have the extra details of an Elite figure (and the $60 price tag that comes with it), that might actually be a plus! If you want to add it to your collection, it will be available at Entertainment Earth and likely on Amazon starting September 23rd at 9am Pacific Time / 12pm Eastern Time.
The McFarlane Toys Doom Slayer figure, featuring the Phalanx skin, is available for pre-order starting September 23rd at 12 PM Eastern Time. The figure costs $34.99.

Following the popular game *DOOM Eternal*, *DOOM: The Dark Ages* takes players back in time, before the events of *DOOM* (2016). It explores the origins of the Doom Slayer’s fury and features new gameplay elements alongside a substantial cinematic campaign. While an ambitious project from id Software, critics generally agree it’s a success. The game is available on PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 for $69.99, and is also included with an Xbox Game Pass subscription at no additional cost.
The game received good reviews when it first came out, but players quickly noticed some bugs and glitches. Fortunately, a recent update in August addressed many of these issues. The developers improved weapon balance, enemy AI, added checkpoints and new encounters, and made other improvements, making the game significantly better than it was at launch. If you played it before and didn’t enjoy it, it’s worth giving it another try – you’ll likely have a much better experience. You can find a complete list of the August updates here.
