The Putmans’ nightmare is still ongoing.
The family featured on TLC’s *Meet the Putmans* recently shared news following a car accident in Michigan. Sadly, the crash took the lives of Bill “Papa” Putman, Barb “Neenee” Putman, and Megan Putman, and several other family members were injured.
Megan’s husband, Blake Putman, and their children – Noah, 15, Lulu, 13, and Alena, 11 – were also admitted to the hospital. As of a September 28th Instagram update, Noah is still under sedation.
We’re incredibly thankful he’s showing signs of movement. Even the smallest progress feels like a reminder that God is working and listening to our prayers.
Eleven-year-old Gia Putman, the daughter of Brandon and Kacie Putman, was also injured in the accident and needed brain surgery on September 27th. The surgery, called a craniotomy, involved temporarily removing a portion of her skull to allow doctors access to her brain.
The family shared positive news about her condition, stating that pressure in her brain has decreased considerably. They see this improvement as a sign of divine help and believe she is steadily healing.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the story of the Putman family, who you might remember from their TLC show where all 26 of them lived together. It’s heartbreaking to see them going through such a difficult time, and they’ve been sharing how they’re coping with this unimaginable loss. They’re really focusing on getting through this together, and it’s inspiring to witness their resilience.
You know, through everything life throws at us, I always come back to my faith. It’s a huge comfort knowing there’s a bigger plan at work, even when things are really tough. I truly believe God is always present, even if we don’t understand *how* He’s working things out in the moment. It’s about trusting that He’s got this, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
We’re so grateful for all your prayers, love, and support. Knowing you’re thinking of us and sending positive energy means the world. Please continue to pray for Noah and Gia as they recover.

On the night of September 26th, a fatal crash occurred north of Detroit, Michigan, according to the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Office.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m deeply saddened to share some tragic news. I just learned from NBC News that a serious accident occurred when a semi-truck ran a stop sign and collided with a Jeep carrying eight people. Sadly, three people lost their lives at the scene. It’s a heartbreaking reminder to always be vigilant on the road.
Oh my gosh, I just heard about the crash! Thankfully, it sounds like the truck driver and his passenger only had some minor injuries and were taken to the hospital to get checked out. But… and this is awful… the driver was *arrested*! I can’t believe it. I just hope everyone involved is okay, but seriously, arrested?! It’s just… a lot to take in.
