Megan Thee Stallion, the rapper known for “Hot Girl Summer,” revealed on April 27th that she would be leaving her role as Zidler in the Broadway show Moulin Rouge! The Musical after just eight weeks.

Just announced: Megan, who plays Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, will give her final performance on May 1st. She originally planned to finish her run on May 17th, and shared on Instagram how much she’s enjoyed being part of the show and working with the incredible people involved.

I’m incredibly grateful to the cast and crew for making this such a special experience.
