MobLand Season 2’s Release Officially Addressed by Guy Ritchie

Thanks to director Guy Ritchie, we now have a better idea of when MobLand Season 2 will be released. The Tom Hardy crime series was a big success for Paramount+ when it first launched in 2025, setting a record for the platform’s largest global series debut, and fans have been waiting for its return. While many streaming shows now have multi-year gaps between seasons, particularly those with famous actors, MobLand won’t be one of them.

Filming for MobLand finished a little over a month ago, putting it on track for a 2026 release and avoiding potential delays. While a specific date hasn’t been announced, director Guy Ritchie has confirmed the series will likely premiere later this year, offering fans some reassurance. He shared this update with ScreenRant along with news about other projects he’s currently working on.

We’ve completed our current project, so we’re finishing up that series. Before the year ends, we’re releasing ‘The Gentlemen,’ as well as ‘MobLand.’ We also have ‘Wife & Dog’ and potentially a couple of other projects planned for release before the end of the year.

MobLand Season 2 Should Be Even Bigger Than Season 1

The first season of MobLand was completed just four days before its release, which is encouraging for Season 2. This suggests we won’t see a delay pushing the new season back to 2027, and that production will be less hurried, potentially leading to an even better quality show.

Season two is shaping up to be even more dramatic and action-packed than the first! While the first season focused mainly on the conflict between the Harrigans and Stevensons, now that the Stevensons are dealt with, we’ll get a broader view of the criminal underworld. A key focus will be Kat McAllister’s role and her plans for revenge against Harry da Souza.

Season 2 of MobLand is set to be full of conflict: Harry was unexpectedly stabbed by his wife, Jan, Kevin now appears to be running the family business, and both Conrad and Maeve are in jail. These major changes should keep the show fresh and exciting, potentially taking it to the next level. Now that filming is finished and the creator has mentioned a release date, fans are hoping Paramount+ will soon share more details and a preview of what’s in store.

MobLand Season 1 is streaming on Paramount+.
