About
Monster Crown: Sin Eater is a 2D role-playing game where you collect and train monsters. It takes the monster-taming genre to a new level with a world full of unique creatures. These monsters aren’t just for battling – they each have their own behaviors and personalities. Some will run away, others will attack, and the most dangerous ones will even secretly follow you.
As you play, you’ll discover towns filled with unique people. What makes Monster Crown: Sin Eater special is that your choices and conversations truly matter, shaping the story and determining its outcome.
Story
In Monster Crown: Sin Eater, you play as Asur, a young man who dreams of becoming a skilled Monster Tamer, following in the footsteps of his brother and the legendary Dyeus. When a crisis threatens his family, Asur takes action, ultimately reshaping the entire Crown Nation.
Asur’s quest will bring him into conflict with Lord Taishakuten and his powerful Holy Order, who have governed the Crown Nation for over a millennium. Order is kept by the Four Heavenly Kings and their terrifying Beastman Inquisitors – creatures created through dark and forbidden science, designed to maintain peace at any cost.
Asur’s journey will bring him into contact with several groups who all want to see the current ruler, Taishakuten, overthrown. Players will decide whether Asur allies with these groups or faces this challenge on his own. Ultimately, the player’s decisions will shape the future of the Crown Nation and its people.
Players will definitely need to assemble a strong team of allies, because Asur can’t succeed on their own!
The Monsters
Okay, so I’m really into Monster Crown: Sin Eater, and it’s exactly what it sounds like – a game all about collecting monsters! You travel around trying to change this place called Crown Nation, and the coolest part is taming a huge variety of monsters. They’re all done in really nice pixel art, and there are over a thousand different designs! Plus, you can customize their colors with tons of palettes. You’re bound to find a monster you love, and if you’re lucky – and really pay attention – you might even stumble across one of the super rare, ‘Brilliant’ versions – they’re only a 1 in 1000 chance!
And get this – the world isn’t the only thing with secrets! The monsters are super deep too. There are tons of different mixes and breeds hidden out there just waiting for me to discover them. It’s awesome!
Some Monsters change form when exposed to different elements. Experimenting with items on them can lead to unexpected outcomes! With a huge variety of Monsters to find, plus their unique breeds and transformations (and even crossbreeds of those transformations!), completing a full collection will be a real test for dedicated players.
