A free demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Capcom revealed this during the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, and confirmed that players who try the demo can transfer their progress to the full game when it launches on March 13th.
The demo for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection lets you create a character and try out the game’s new combat features, including the Wyvernsoul Gauge and Synchro Rush. You’ll also get a first look at the Habitat Restoration system, which was revealed last December.
I just watched the trailer for the demo, and it’s so cool! It basically reminds you of the story: these huge, long-dead monsters called Rathalos are somehow back, and it’s a really bad sign – like things are about to go downhill fast. We play as Rangers, and our job is to protect the world and make sure everyone survives. I’m so hyped!
Announced last July, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is set centuries after the Rift War. The world of Vermeil is facing a crisis as monsters become increasingly rare. Like previous Stories games, this installment features turn-based battles and the ability to befriend monsters. It also incorporates elements from the main Monster Hunter series, letting players hunt monsters for materials to craft new equipment.
