The creators of the hit Mortal Kombat games, NetherRealm Studios, might be working on a new installment in another one of their fighting game series.
A new report from MP1st suggests that Injustice 3 is currently being made at the development studio.
According to a new report, someone working as an artist at WB Games mistakenly listed ‘Injustice 3’ on their resume. A picture from the report seems to confirm the game’s title was included.
NetherRealm Studios released Mortal Kombat 1 in 2023. Since then, they’ve been focused on updates and downloadable content, but it’s likely they’ve already started developing their next game.
According to MP1st, James Gunn, the CEO of DC Studios, has said he plans to meet with NetherRealm (and Rocksteady Studios) in 2025 to discuss potential collaborations on DC games, including characters and storylines.
Injustice hasn’t been seen since the launch of Injustice 2 in 2017, despite very positive reviews.
This doesn’t officially announce Injustice 3, but things are starting to look promising.
