Following a rocky launch, the first update for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is now available. The game released on most platforms last week, but many players quickly reported problems, including lag, issues with online play, and problems with how the computer-controlled opponents behaved. These bugs were frustrating enough that some players asked for refunds. The developer, Digital Eclipse, has released a patch to address these issues and plans to release more improvements in the future.
A new update is available now for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection on PC and PlayStation. This update includes several fixes, with a focus on reducing input lag on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It also addresses some audio issues and includes specific improvements for Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3, and Mortal Kombat 4.
Digital Eclipse plans to release this update for Xbox and Nintendo Switch in the near future. They’re also working on a bigger update for Legacy Kollection that will let players create or join both private and public lobbies for online multiplayer, along with other general improvements to the game.
