The popular, but challenging, strategy game Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is adding naval combat soon.
The War Sails expansion for the game is officially coming out on November 26th on all platforms, including PlayStation 5. It’s been three years since Bannerlord was first released on Sony’s PlayStation!
TaleWorlds’ game is already huge and detailed, so the new ‘War Sails’ expansion is particularly noteworthy. As the name implies, it adds ship combat and expands the game’s map.
This expansion significantly changes how Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord plays. Battles now include naval combat, letting you build and command your own fleet of ships. This addition will also affect how trading and diplomacy work in the game.
You can get a look at War Sails in action via the official gameplay reveal:
The expansion will cost $24.99 or €24.99 and will launch with a major update. We expect the full patch notes to be released soon.
I’m so hyped for the new Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord DLC! I’m definitely planning on jumping in and leading my troops – are you all getting ready to set sail too? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
