MOUSE: P.I. for Hire launches March 19, 2026

I’m so excited! The developers at Fumi Games and PlaySide Publishing just announced that MOUSE: P.I. for Hire – a first-person shooter with a really cool, old-timey cartoon look inspired by 1930s noir films – is coming out on March 19, 2026! It’ll be available on pretty much everything: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC through Steam.

MOUSE: P.I. for Hire is a dark and stylish first-person shooter inspired by old-fashioned cartoons from the 1930s. It features a unique black-and-white visual style, reminiscent of classic rubber hose animation, and a retro jazz soundtrack created using techniques from that era. Players take on the role of detective Jack Pepper, investigating a dangerous and corrupt city called Mouseburg, filled with armed gangs and shady characters, to uncover its hidden secrets.
