Hammer95 is launching its action-packed, anime-style first-person shooter, Mullet MadJack, on the Nintendo Switch on April 30th, according to the developer.
I was so excited when Mullet MadJack finally came out on PC through Steam and GOG on May 15th, 2024! And now, it’s awesome that it’s also available on Xbox Series and Xbox One as of March 13th, 2025.
Here is an overview of the game, via Hammer95:
About
Mullet MadJack, created by Hammer95 Studios and published by Epopeia Games, is a fast-paced first-person shooter that’s gained a large following worldwide. The game challenges players to defeat waves of enemies every 10 seconds in a futuristic world ruled by robots—all with a vibrant art style inspired by classic anime from the 80s and 90s.
After finding success on other systems, the game is now available on Nintendo Switch. It became incredibly popular on Steam, earning overwhelmingly positive reviews from players and becoming one of the top-selling games in its category. It also gained a large following on Xbox, with over 800,000 downloads between Steam and Game Pass.
The game also received praise from both critics and industry professionals. Mullet MadJack was named Best Brazilian Game at the BIG Festival 2025 in latam, solidifying its place as a standout title in the indie game world, both in Brazil and internationally.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game delivers the same thrilling experience fans loved before, with quick, action-packed battles, a progression system where you unlock new abilities after each run, tons of upgrades to find, and a constantly changing campaign that takes you higher and higher—you’ll need to be quick to survive!
I’m so excited! It’s been announced that the game will launch on April 30th during gamescom latam 2026! This is a huge moment for the game, and I can’t wait for a whole new group of players to experience it, especially those on Nintendo Switch. It feels like a fresh start and I’m really hoping it’ll grab a lot of new fans!
