This week, Law & Order: SVU returned with new episodes after a break since November. However, NBC has decided to remove a future episode from the schedule. This decision comes after reports that guest star Timothy Busfield is facing criminal charges.
Peter Busfield, a familiar face from shows like thirtysomething and The West Wing and the movie Field of Dreams, was scheduled to guest star as a judge on Law & Order: SVU. However, according to Variety, that episode has been removed from the schedule. This decision comes after an arrest warrant was issued in New Mexico, alleging sexual abuse involving a minor. The accusation reportedly relates to Busfield’s work on the Fox series The Cleaning Lady.
