Suzuki, the creator of āSAKAMOTO DAYS,ā shared a message expressing his happiness with the movie’s positive reception. He was especially encouraged by hearing from new fans and thanked everyone involved in the film. He also explained that he channeled the excitement of the movie’s climax when creating a special sketch for fans.

If you haven’t seen it yet, I hope you enjoy it! Sakamoto Days has been a hit, and everyoneās eagerly awaiting news about the second season of the anime, though thereās no official confirmation just yet.
Whatās Next for Sakamoto Days on Netflix?

A second season of Sakamoto Days is planned, following the conclusion of the first, but a release date hasn’t been announced yet. You can currently watch the first season on Netflix, which will also stream the new season when it’s available. Sadly, there are currently no plans to release the live-action movie outside of Japan.
