I’ve been following the case of Lucy Letby, the 36-year-old nurse who’s been sentenced to spend the rest of her life in prison. She was found guilty of murdering seven babies and trying to harm seven more, and it’s just a heartbreaking situation.
Between June 2015 and June 2016, she committed crimes at the Countess of Chester Hospital that make her the most prolific child murderer in recent UK history.
The trial captivated the country but also sparked intense debate, as many questioned the medical and statistical proof presented during the conviction.
Letby’s case was previously examined in documentaries by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5.
