Netflix regularly adds popular movies, but titles don’t stay available for long. Even original Netflix films sometimes get removed, so you can’t count on any movie being there permanently. This is especially true for newer releases, as they’re often shown on other streaming platforms too. Currently, a recent box office hit that’s been available on Netflix will soon be leaving, so subscribers don’t have much time left to watch it.
Despite being released over thirty years after the first movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a huge success in theaters last year, bringing in over $450 million. The long-awaited sequel, a horror-comedy directed by Tim Burton, exceeded expectations, and it was a pleasant surprise when it started streaming on Netflix. However, that availability is ending soon.
If you want to watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on Netflix, November 5th is your last chance. Netflix initially said the movie would leave on November 6th in their newsletter, but those dates actually mean the film will no longer be available after that day. Checking directly on Netflix confirms the last day to stream it is November 5th.
If you’ve been wanting to see the hit sequel, you have almost all day and night to watch it. Netflix updates its content at 12:01am Pacific Time, which means those on the East Coast have until 3:01am Eastern Time before anything changes.
