The upcoming film, titled “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle,” is soon to be released in North America. A sneak peek into the movie unveils a new character replacing one of the fallen heroes. This movie continues right after the events shown in the TV anime’s fourth season during the Hashira Training Arc, where main characters like Tanjiro Kamado and others find themselves in a life-or-death struggle. However, it begins with a poignant farewell that fans and Demon Slayers had to endure at the conclusion of the previous season.
Get ready! We’re diving into spoilers for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, so proceed at your own risk! The last episode of the Hashira Training Arc has Muzan Kibutsuji locating Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s mansion after years of searching. However, in a grand finale of honor and self-sacrifice for those he cherished, Ubayashiki laid down his life in an attempt to trap Muzan in a massive explosion. Yet, the battles resume in the upcoming movie as it picks up where we left off, with the Demon Slayers now facing off against Ubuyashiki’s replacement, his son Kiriya. And here’s a sneak peek of him in the new film poster that was just released!
Who Is Ubuyashiki’s Rplacement?

Despite Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle having premiered in Japanese theaters this Summer and setting box office records, the promotional materials for the film have been hesitant to unveil all the new characters and plot developments that fans can expect. However, as international releases approach, the franchise is gradually disclosing these new character introductions before they make their global debut. One such character is Kiriya Ubuyashiki, who will carry on his clan’s mission of vanquishing Muzan.
Following Kagaya’s selfless sacrifice at the end of the TV series, Kiriya must swiftly step up as the new leader for the Demon Slayer corps. Just like the rest of the team who are grieving over their late mentor, Kiriya is mourning his father too. However, much like them, he must set aside his sorrow because the Corps has been taken into the colossal Infinity Castle, a situation viewers will witness in the upcoming trilogy. If Kiriya fails to perform his duties competently, more lives could be at risk.
