One Piece Debuts the Holy Knights of God in New Trailer

The Knights of God are an elite team working directly under the highest authorities in the World Government. While groups like CP0 exist within the government, the Knights of God are even more powerful, reporting directly to King Imu and the Five Elders. After recent changes within the World Government, revealed during the Egghead Arc, the Knights of God are now preparing to take action on Elbaph as part of a plan for the World Government to achieve total control.

The newest group of antagonists, known as the Knights of God, includes exciting new characters like Shamrock, who resembles a menacing version of Shanks and is voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda. This character actually appeared briefly before, sparking a lot of fan theories, and we’ll now see his full role in the story unfold. The trailer also reveals several other new villains joining the mix.

Who Are the Knights of God in One Piece?

Joining the voice cast are Sumire Uesaka as Gunko, Hiroki Yasumoto as Sommers, and Shinnosuke Tachibana as Killingham. Following the events of the Egghead Arc, the Knights of God are becoming an even greater threat. The Straw Hats previously faced the seemingly invincible Five Elders, but this new saga signals a major shift for Eiichiro Oda’s series. From now on, every challenge will be incredibly dangerous and no adventure will be simple.

With just 26 episodes planned for the year, and One Piece already halfway through its current season, each new episode is becoming increasingly exciting. If you’re looking forward to more of the anime, you can start watching One Piece: Elbaph Arc, which is currently available on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
