Okay, so Atlus just dropped a little hint that something big is coming for Persona fans! We already knew they were working on a remake of Persona 4 called Persona 4 Revival, and they’ve been saying for ages that Persona 6 is eventually happening too. This new update feels like they’re about to show us what they’ve been up to – maybe we’ll finally get some news on either Revival or Persona 6 soon! I’m super hyped!
Sega, the company that owns Atlus, recently registered a trademark for “Persona” in Europe. It’s unclear why they did this, as the trademark only covers the name “Persona” and not any specific games in the series. While it could just be a standard trademark renewal, similar filings have sometimes hinted at upcoming announcements. This could mean Atlus is preparing to reveal something new related to the Persona franchise.

We’re likely to hear more Persona news soon, and it will probably be about Persona 4 Revival. When Atlus announced the remake last year, they didn’t reveal much, leaving fans wondering what the finished game will be like. There’s still a lot Atlus needs to share about Persona 4 Revival before its release, which is expected sometime before March 2027.
It’s currently unclear when we’ll hear about Persona 6. With the Persona series celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, some fans believe Atlus might announce the next game before the end of the year, giving us a preview of what’s to come. However, it’s more likely that we won’t see any news about Persona 6 until after Persona 4 Revival is released.
