New PlayStation Game Leaks Ahead of State of Play

A new PlayStation game appears to have been revealed before the company’s upcoming State of Play presentation. PlayStation recently announced the event will be held on June 2nd. While Marvel’s Wolverine is the only game officially confirmed to be showcased, the presentation is expected to include other announcements about future games for the PS5. Now, a recent leak suggests one of those announcements has been revealed early.

This week, Sony trademarked the name “Break In” in the US and Europe. While we don’t know exactly what it is yet, the filing indicates it’s video game software, confirming it’s a new game coming from PlayStation. Because the trademark appeared so close to Sony’s planned June 2026 State of Play presentation, it’s likely we’ll see more details about the game during that stream.

The name “Break In” could refer to a brand new game, or it might be a rebrand of PlayStation’s upcoming live-service title, Fairgame$. Fairgame$ is a heist-focused game where players commit robberies and compete against each other. Since “break in” naturally relates to heists, PlayStation might have decided to rename Fairgame$ to Break In. This would be a logical move, especially since many PlayStation fans weren’t fond of the Fairgame$ name anyway.

No matter what “Break In” turns out to be, we likely won’t have to wait long to learn more. We’ll share any official details about the project from PlayStation right here on ComicBook as soon as we get them.
