The animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse featured many different versions of Spider-Man, and Spider-Man Noir quickly became a fan favorite. Nicolas Cage’s distinctive performance, channeling classic detective stories with a humorous twist, really resonated with audiences. Because of this, Cage is now starring in a new TV series, Spider-Noir. While he’s playing a different Spider-Man – Ben Reilly this time – he’s bringing the same funny, Humphrey Bogart-meets-Bugs Bunny style that made his Spider-Verse character so memorable.
The first trailer for Spider-Noir is here, and we now know when you can watch it! It will premiere in the US on MGM on May 25th, with all episodes available on Amazon Prime Video starting May 27th. You can find the trailer below. A unique feature of this series is that viewers can choose to watch in either black and white or color, depending on their preference.
