Nick Viall and Natalie Joy are dealing with a tragic loss.

The alumnus from the Bachelor’s program revealed that his wife experienced a third miscarriage, approximately five months following the announcement of their second pregnancy loss.

Nick clarified during the August 14th episode of The Viall Files podcast that Natalie is not present with them. He acknowledged that finding the right words in such a situation can be challenging, but expressed his disappointment by saying it’s unfortunate. He added that she seems to be at home taking care of herself, both physically and emotionally.

He mentioned that, given the fact that he and Natalie, who have an 18-month-old child named River Rose, have been transparent throughout their pregnancy, he felt it necessary to share this update with everyone about their journey.

Despite doctors assuring me that miscarriages are common, I can’t help but find these past few months a tad nerve-wracking. After all, we’ve encountered two this year, and it’s left me feeling rather apprehensive about the journey ahead.

He expressed that it’s quite unusual to have multiple situations one after another. Now, we’re going through a rather unsettling period where tests are being conducted and more information about us is being discovered. It’s like being in this odd predicament where you hope they’ll find something, but at the same time, you don’t want them to find anything.

The TV personality pondered over the unique nature of his grief, being distinct from what Natalie might experience as a parent.

He mentioned that there’s a special, instantaneous bond and connection between mothers that is quite distinctive. As for the fathers, he emphasized they are often working to maintain a balance – coping with their own grief, while simultaneously ensuring the family continues to function smoothly.

He stated, “Those who encounter it feel an isolated sorrow. And that is exactly what Natalie is dealing with at the moment.

Despite their ongoing grief over the loss, Nick mentioned that his wife is currently holding up well physically, with signs of recovery.
