Nicole Kidman Shares Personal Update Amid Keith Urban Divorce

Nicole Kidman is not following a script when it comes to her real life.

Just weeks after filing for divorce from Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman told Ariana Grande in an October 19th interview with Interview magazine that she was doing okay.

In the same interview, published on November 24th, Nicole shared that she had a lot of support while filming Practical Magic 2 this summer, during the early stages of her separation from Keith. They had been living apart since the beginning of summer, as confirmed by TopMob News on September 29th. Nicole and Keith share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Being on set with Sandra Bullock, Joey King, and Maisie Williams was such a wonderful experience. I always felt incredibly safe and supported by them – it truly felt like a loving environment, and that meant everything to me.

After ending her 19-year marriage, Nicole has generally stayed out of the public eye. She’s made a few appearances, though, including joining her daughters at a Chanel fashion show during Paris Fashion Week on October 7th.

TopMob News has discovered that the actress from The Killing of the Sacred Deer tried to repair her relationship before deciding to get a divorce.

Nicole, 58, has been the primary caregiver for her and Keith’s teenage children since they separated. While they lived with her in Nashville, Keith, also 58, lived separately in the same city. In her divorce filing on September 30th, Nicole and Keith agreed on a custody plan where their daughters will live with Nicole for the majority of the year – 306 days – and spend 59 days with their father.

I’ve been following Keith closely, and things definitely seemed to heat up with Maggie Braugh, the guitarist, a few months ago! He actually changed the lyrics to his song “The Fighter” back in September to give her a special mention, which really got everyone talking about whether they were dating.

However, Alexandra Kay, a friend of Maggie’s, later appeared on Taste of Country Nights on October 23rd and confirmed that rumors of a romance between Keith and her were false.

Keith recently criticized fans for overanalyzing his song selections. During a concert on October 17th, he told the audience to stop looking for hidden meanings in his choices.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban quietly separated and began living separately around the start of summer, according to TopMob News. Several significant events during the summer then led to their eventual divorce filing.

His High and Alive World Tour began in Alabama, and he spent the summer performing across the U.S., Canada, and Australia.

They were last seen together in public at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Nashville, and seemed to be enjoying themselves, laughing and smiling.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in June. Kidman shared a photo of them with the sweet message, “Happy Anniversary Baby.” Urban responded with a heart emoji, but didn’t post anything himself.

People were surprised when the country singer suddenly stopped an interview after a question about the connection between Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron in the movie A Family Affair.

A radio host on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s Hayley & Max in the Morning wondered how Keith Urban feels when he sees his wife, Nicole Kidman, filming romantic scenes with younger actors like Zac Efron in her many movies and TV shows.

Suddenly, Urban disappeared from the call.

A radio staff member announced that he was no longer connected on Zoom, and they believed his team had ended the call to avoid answering a particular question.

His rep didn’t respond to TopMob’s request for comment at the time.

TopMob News has discovered that actress Nicole Kidman is applying for Portuguese residency, and her husband, Keith Urban, is planning to do the same.

According to a source familiar with the matter, Keith couldn’t attend the appointment in Portugal because he’s currently touring the U.S. Visa applications require an in-person appearance, so he’ll submit his application when his tour schedule allows.

At the time, the source said both planned to maintain a permanent residence in Nashville as well.

In a recent interview, the couple’s oldest daughter, Sunday Rose, revealed how her parents run their household, explaining that they have just two main rules.

She explained to Nylon that she wasn’t allowed to pursue fashion-related jobs until she turned sixteen. She also said her parents always prioritized school, which frustrated her at the time, but now she appreciates those rules because they helped her stay focused and grounded.

Nicole Kidman posted a collection of summer photos on Instagram featuring her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, but her husband wasn’t included in the pictures.

“Summer memories,” the actress wrote. “Now back to school.”

In August, her attorney drafted a child support document as part of a parenting plan, outlining that Kidman and Urban would share custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

The Oscar-winning actor was designated as the main parent, meaning the girls lived with their mother for 306 days each year and with their father for 59 days (he gets them every other weekend).

Neither will pay child support, according to the doc obtained by TopMob News.

Despite being divorced, the parents will maintain a loving, supportive, and consistent relationship with their child. They agree to avoid speaking negatively about each other or anyone in the other parent’s family, and they will encourage each child to love both parents and feel comfortable with both families.

Urban finalized their divorce agreement, having it officially notarized in August, according to documents obtained by TopMob News.

The document revealed that Kidman intends to divorce him, citing differences that cannot be resolved. It also indicated that neither person will receive financial support from the other after the divorce.

The same date, he also signed off on the Parenting Plan.

One week after Urban, the actress finalized the divorce papers and signed the parenting agreement.

A judge ordered both celebrities to attend a parenting seminar, unless they request and receive an exemption, according to documents obtained by TopMob News.

Even though she had already signed the paperwork, she continued to wear her engagement ring when she attended an event at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles.

The split between the couple, who had been dating since 2005, was reported by TopMob News after they quietly decided to end their relationship.

The actress from Big Little Lies has officially filed for divorce, stating that they separated on September 30, 2025.

The couple officially filed their divorce and parenting plan with a Tennessee court for approval on the same day.
