Wes Craven’s classic horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street, was released on 4K Blu-ray in 2024, marking its 40th anniversary. The movie first introduced audiences to Robert Englund as the terrifying Freddy Krueger and is considered a top horror film of all time. In time for Halloween 2025, a new 4K collection featuring seven films from the series became available last month. You can currently find it on Amazon and Walmart for $88.44—a 16% discount and the lowest price ever.
A special, limited edition 4K Blu-ray box set was also released on Amazon. It included 3D glasses and a numbered certificate to prove its authenticity. All seven films were housed in individual Steelbook cases, and those were all packaged inside a larger Steelbook Library Case. This set was extremely limited – only 4,000 were produced – and is now sold out, with no plans for a restock. However, the regular edition of the set should still please fans, particularly given its current price. Details about the films included in the set are listed below.

I’m a huge fan of A Nightmare on Elm Street, and if you just want the original movie, you can find the regular 4K Blu-ray on Amazon and Walmart for around $20 right now. But honestly, if you’re going to get it, go for the 4K Steelbook edition – it looks amazing, and it’s available on Amazon right now!
