Nintendo has faced a tough week with legal challenges regarding Pocketpair and an expected increase in the price of the Switch 2. However, rumors of a Nintendo Direct presentation next month are circulating, and Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb recently suggested on Twitch that the event is likely to happen around mid-June.
We always recommend waiting for an official announcement. However, since most gaming showcases are held in June, and Xbox has already scheduled theirs, it’s likely one is coming soon.
According to Grubb, Nintendo is likely to hold off on making any announcements until after the Summer Games Fest. He’s not sure if the event will focus on Nintendo’s own games or games from its partners. These predictions align with earlier reports from NateTheHate, who also mentioned a possible June event and plans to share more information this week.
We’re excited about the possibility of a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and hope to learn more if the rumors are true. It’s hard to say what games will be announced or when the event will happen, but we’re also hoping for updates on titles like the rumored Nintendo Switch Sports and Splatoon Raiders. We’re trying to stay realistic, but we’re definitely optimistic!
