However, Mario’s main role is often that of a hero, with some blockbuster adventures to his name, even inspiring a successful film series with an upcoming sequel.

A significant aspect of the Mario universe is that Mario often rescues Princess Peach from impending danger, which reminds us of classic fairy tales where heroes save princesses, leading to romantic stories and eventual happiness. This has led some fans to speculate about a potential romantic relationship between Mario and Peach. Currently, we’re unsure of when exactly the next 3D Mario game might appear, but it seems it’s being developed for the Nintendo Switch 2.
